The BRC-202 protocol is compatible with protocol messages within Runes and uses UTXOs to represent balances. It achieves the financing and issuance of tokens, batch transfers, destruction, and tagging among other new functions, all while reducing the burden on inscription numbers and Bitcoin storage occupancy. Furthermore, BTC Beta will continue to explore cross-chain interoperability and Bitcoin Layer2 technologies, pushing Bitcoin towards wider application and development.
